Battery Questions
Is a pack assembled in the US automatically NDAA compliant?
No. Compliance follows the cells and components inside the pack, not the assembly address — and the determination belongs to your program. BAM builds with documented component source so your reviewers can make it.
What documentation comes with a pack?
Quoted to the requirement — lot and date-code traceability, Certificate of Conformance, SDS, and UN 38.3 documentation are all available.
What's your minimum order?
One. Single prototypes through pilot and production runs.
Do you build high-rate packs for UAS and FPV platforms?
Yes — high-discharge LiPo and Li-ion construction is a core build, quoted to the platform's discharge, weight, and connector requirements.
Can you replicate a discontinued pack?
Usually — send the original. Reverse-documenting it produces a drawing you keep, and replacements build against it.
Can you ship lithium batteries?
Yes — shipments are prepared under 49 CFR by hazmat-trained staff.
Send a spec — or the dead pack it replaces.
