Usually, yes. Send the original pack; reverse-documenting it produces a drawing you keep, and replacements build against it from then on.
What's a realistic quantity to bring you?
One service unit through a few hundred pieces per run — the band larger suppliers decline is the band this shop is built for.
Can you work from a sample instead of drawings?
Yes — reverse-documentation is normal work and the resulting drawing belongs to you.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes — routine for OEM work.
